Mallard Creek at David Taylor Drive

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services plans to restore 5,875 Linear Feet of the Mallard Creek corridor from Mallard Creek Road to David Taylor Drive. This project is in cooperation with the Park and Recreation. The project will include stream restoration that would improve water quality and habitat and stabilize the stream banks for ecological and water quality uplift.

includes all costs associated with this project such as planning and design, utility relocation, consultant fees, permits, construction, and landscaping.

The project team will manage the project through several phases. Specific work is conducted during each phase and public involvement is emphasized throughout the process.
