Mallard Creek at Kirk Farms field

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services plans to restore 5,875 Linear Feet of the Mallard Creek corridor from Mallard Creek Church Road to I-485. This project is in cooperation with Charlotte Water and the Cross Charlotte Trail that also plans a project in this area. This project will be a continuation of the previously restored section of creek above Mallard Creek Church Road along the Greenway. The project will include stream restoration that would improve water quality and habitat and stabilize the stream banks for ecological and water quality uplift.
