How well did the stream restora on project handle a recent heavy rainfall event? 

These photos are from West Branch Rocky River Phase 2 Stream Restoration project during the heavy rain and flooding event from Jan. 9, 2024. Between 2.5” and 3.5” of rain fell across Mecklenburg County in a 24-hour period. These pictures show how the new construction handled the excess stream flow.
